Il primo red carpet da vera diva di Hollywood dopo 50 sfumature di Grigio per Dakota Johnson, accompagnata dalla famosa madre, Melanie Griffith; il ritorno sulla passerella più importante dove sfoggiare dei corpi perfetti per Zoe Saldana e Scarlett Johansson, da poco divenute mamme; un’abitudine per le signore della cerimonia, come Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore e Marion Cotillard; senza nomination, ma capaci di attrarre l’attenzione con un abito di sole perle, come Lupita Nyong’o.

Gli Oscar sono tornati anche quest’anno, e le donne si sfidano con interpretazioni toccanti in pellicole plurinominate (Emma Stone in Birdman) ma anche a colpi di fascino sul red carpet. Scolli mozzafiato e spacchi vertiginosi la fanno da padrone, le nuance virano saggiamente dal bianco al nero passando per il rosso, con punte di verde smeraldo e verde acido. Pochi strascichi e abiti col fascino antico del gran ballo (Jennifer Lopez, Kiera Knightley e Felicity Jones), le star optano per tagli morbidi, quando non minimali (come Sienna Miller in Oscar de la Renta). Il glamour hollywoodiano è incarnato però perfettamente da Jessica Chastain, l’abbondante scollatura sottolineata da un corpetto strizzato e luccicante. I vincitori della statuetta li ha decretati l’Academy, ma le più sexy, le ha già decise il red carpet.
